EDIT: Hunk’s pain and fear isn’t about just not having food. I wasn’t trying to be funny. I wanted to convey that the lack of Earth foods, even things like vegetables and fruits will never be the same. How the longer they’re out in space, the easier it’ll be to end up slowly forgetting his family’s recipes, what they tasted like, and possibly even the memories associated with those dishes. Everyone in each of the images is dealing with something intense, and I wanted to treat Hunk like a real character, since he’s used as comic relief in both the show and in fanon. Again, I did not draw his image to be “funny,” I was taking this seriously from the get-go.
