yo i know theres a post circulating about this but

i just wanna warn my followers and everyone

i have an underworks 997 binder, but today it was not clean so i reluctantly decided to put on my ancient fish king poor quality binder

now this binder has always hurt me, felt too tight on the seams, caused chaffing and marks on my skin etc, but this is the first time it has done this

its this binder, which is unfortunately kinda popular:

i usually put it on the largest adjustement but today i felt particularly dysphoric so i put it on the tightest, which was an error

i struggled a little to put it on and then started adjusting it

and in the middle of adjusting i realized i couldn’t breathe at all

i thought i was just out of breath from struggling to put it on but no matter how i tried to breath in i simply couldn’t

i’m asthmatic and there was NO ONE HOME so i knew if i didn’t take this shit off i could actually faint and possibly stop breathing completely, at this point i already felt light headed. i tried to take it off but one of the button things (idk how they’re called) was stuck and i just couldn’t get it off.

i had to physically tear the thing off me, and i felt incredible light-headed and dizzy afterwards.

so, PLEASE spare yourself that shit and don’t buy this. i think that i’m not exaggerating if i say i feel this thing actually put my life in danger today, as i was really close to a asthma attack and home alone. please be safe and find a way to get a good quality binder instead. this thing doesn’t even make you flat anyways.

Just wanted to add to this that I had purchased this binder in the past as well, and no only did it not bind me, but after time caused horrible back pain and every time I breathed it felt like my ribs were going to break. This binder also cracked the collarbone of one of my friends.

So yeah, please don’t get this it’s super dangerous. Speaking personally I have had great luck with gc2b. Please love yourself and whatever you do do not purchase from ancient fish king.

Bruh I can’t recommend gc2b enough- it feels like you’re not even wearing the thing most of the time but does its job incredibly well, it’s comfortable and relatively inexpensive and is honestly one of the best binder brands I’ve ever experienced.
